Yidiat Omolade Aderinto, is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin with 24 years university teaching, research and administrative experience.
She is presently the Chairperson Faculty Quality Assurance Committee, and Senate representative on the Selection Board for the Appointment of University Principal officers. She has served as an Assistant Director (Operations), Centre for International Education, CBT Examination Commissioner, Faculty Representative at University Dress Code Committee, Faculty Representative at University Convocation & Ceremonial Committee, and Faculty Representative at University Quiz & Debate Committee.
Her areas of research interest cover Applied Mathematics, Optimization Theory, Optimal Control Theory, Modelling and Simulation, Numerical Analysis and Complex Analysis.
She has to her credit over forty-two publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and chapters in books. She has successfully supervised over 12 Masters dissertations and 7 Ph.D. theses.
Prof. Aderinto is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.
