Prof. Amos Sesan Idowu

Amos Sesan Idowu is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin, with about 30 years of university teaching, research and administrative experience.

He has served as Senate member, Member of Council Project Monitoring and Implementation Committee, Chairman Faculty of Physical Sciences Quality Assurance Committee, board of TEC, Scholarship and Prices, Business Committee of Senate, and Faculty representative to different Faculties in the University. 

His area of research interest covers Fluid Mechanics, Analytical and Mathematics Biology.  He has supervised more than 15 M.Sc. dissertations, 8 Ph.D. theses and published over 60 articles in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and chapters in books.

Professor Idowu was the University Chaplain in Charge (Chapel of the Light, Unilorin) from 2004-2015, the Chairman Unilorin Scientific MCS Ltd. He is Married to Mrs G. O. IDOWU and bless with Promising Children.
