Dr. (Mrs.) Catherine Ngozi Ejieji

Catherine Ngozi Ejieji, is a Reader in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin with more than 15 years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience.

She has served as Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Physical Sciences, Postgraduate Coordinator of the Department of Mathematics, and as the Examination Officer for the Department. She is currently the Deputy Director (Biomass) at the Unilorin Renewable Energy Centre. Her areas of research interest include optimization algorithms, Meta-heuristic methods for the solution of optimization problems, and the application of Mathematical modeling in the optimal solution of engineering, biological, agricultural and other natural systems.

She has to her credit over twenty-five publications in reputable journals outlets. She has successfully supervised several undergraduate projects, seventeen Masters dissertations and two Ph.D Theses.

Dr. Catherine Ngozi Ejieji is a member of learned societies such as Mathematical Association of Nigeria, Nigerian Mathematical Society, Science Association of Nigeria, Nigerian Women in Mathematics and African Women in Mathematics.
