Biography

Idayat Foluke Usamot, is a Lecturer I in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin with more than 7 years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience.

She has served as a Level adviser and members of different committee in the department. Her area of research interest covers Fixed Point/Semigroup Theory and Data Science.

Dr. Usamot is a member of professional bodies within and outside Nigeria such as Black in Mathematics Association (BMA), Nigerian Women in Mathematics (NWM),  Nigerian Mathematical Society (NMS), Science Association of Nigeria (SAN), Nigerian Association of Mathematical Physics (NAMP) and Mathematical Association of  Nigeria (MAN).
