Timothy Oloyede Opoola, is a Professor of in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin.

He has served as Head of Department, Dean, Faculty of Science, member University of Ilorin Governing Council, Chairman, University Patent Committee,

He has 72 publications in reputable Journals to his credit and have supervised 25 M.Sc. dissertations and 8 Ph. D. theses.

Professor Opoola has served as external examiner to many Universities, Chairman Kwara State Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Chairman Kwara State Christian Association of Nigeria,

Chairman Kwara State Christian Welfare Board.

He is a member, Nigeria Mathematical Society (NMS) and Mathematical Association of Nigeria (MAN).
