Olabode Matthias Bamigbola is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin with 37 years university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
He has served as Head of Department and Acting Dean of the faculty. His areas of research interest include Optimization, Mathematical Modelling, and Numerical Analysis.
He has to his credit about ninety publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and chapter in a book. He has successfully supervised over 31 Masters dissertations and 17 Ph.D. theses. He has equally won a number of research grants.
Professor Bamigbola is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.
