Biography

Olubunmi Abidemi Fadipe-Joseph, is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin with 26 years university teaching, research and administrative experience. 

Her teaching experience cuts across State, Private and Federal Universities in Nigeria. 

Her areas of research are Complex and Functional Analysis.Fadipe-Joseph was the Deputy Director (Academic) Centre for Open and Distance Learning, University of Ilorin. 

Olubunmi is a member of Councils of the Nigerian Mathematical Society and the Nigerian Women in Mathematics. She is the only appointed ambassador of the International Mathematical Union Committee for Women in Mathematics to represent Nigeria. She is the Chair, African Mathematical Union, Commission for Women in Mathematics. She is active in community outreach and promotion of mathematics to young people. She has successfully supervised both undergraduate and postgraduate students.  Fadipe-Joseph won grants at the National and International levels to conduct research and to attend conferences/workshops.
